Meet Adrenaline
Construction

Adrenaline Construction's unwavering focus on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate potential issues sets the company apart. Prior to starting his own Company, some notable projects included the San Francisco Bay Bridge replacement project, the Folsom Dam Spillway and numerous highway and bridge projects around the state. Owner Kyle Holmes approached every task with the same dedication and precision. He always strives to minimize the environmental impact of heavy machinery operations. For instance, while working in the El Dorado National Forest building a bridge on the Rubicon Jeep Trail, instead of constructing it with a Helicopter, he devised a way to have minimal impact to the environment using tractors. Kyle doesn’t just carve into the dirt; he sculpts it into beautiful parklike settings.

We provide environmentally conscious design, construction, and management services for a variety of projects.

Over the years, Kyle sharpened his skills and became a true master of his profession. He developed an intuitive understanding of the machines he operated, making him capable of handling even the most intricate tasks with ease. From fine grading to heavy lifting, Kyle’s expertise was in high demand. It didn’t take long for him to move up through the ranks of companies he worked for to see his skillset and promote him to job superintendent and project management. He earned a reputation for completing projects ahead of schedule without compromising on quality and safety.

Meet The Owner

Kyle Holmes

Founder/Operator

Born and raised in a small rural town, Kyle always had a fascination with machinery from a young age. He is a fourth generation Heavy Equipment Operator. Growing up amidst grandfathers, uncles, cousins, and construction sites, he would spend countless hours observing the awesome power of bulldozers, excavators, and cranes.

He started operating equipment at 10 years old. As he matured, so did his determination to become a master of these impressive machines. After completing high school, he immediately joined the Operating Engineers Local Three.

Kyle married his High School Sweetheart Bridgette in 2000. Bridgette was a great sport, and they lived a nomadic lifestyle for the first few years of marriage. In 2004 they welcomed their son Zander. It was time to settle down when Zander entered school so they chose the Sacramento area as a central place where Kyle could spend time with his family in the evenings. In 2010 they welcomed their daughter Vivienne and moved to El Dorado County. They wanted a better quality of life and to raise their children in the rural lifestyle they had both been raised in.

Kyle enjoys spending time with his family and their two Labrador Retrievers exploring nature during his downtime. In 1995 Kyle started coming to El Dorado County and was an avid Snowboarder. Today, his past times also include working on Classic Vehicles with his son Zander, Off Road Racing, Camping, and World Wide Travel. Currently he is working on a Children’s Book about a day in the life of an Operator geared towards 5-10 year olds. In fact, the name Adrenaline Construction came from his thrill-seeking pursuit of high-risk activities…the rush and excitement of ADRENALINE!!
